An open-source live-service “MMORPG”, forked from the base game of Space Station 14.
Prototype 1
Integrated MediaPipe face-tracking into a Unity prototype, allowing for a distinct visual style with full player hand and face expression, without the need for a VR headset.
Prototype 2
Created a full 6-degrees-of-freedom character controller, in which the player can crawl along any surface and navigate freely in a zero-gravity environment. It's multiplayer, too!

Created and iterated upon in Unity over the course of a year, using C# to develop player movement, enemy AI, weapon logic, and more from scratch.
Levels were created using TrenchBroom, an open-source brush-based level authoring tool similar to Hammer. Custom logic set up on the Unity side to allow for triggers to be set up in TrenchBroom, rather than in-engine, with the goal of letting arbitrary levels be loaded from disk at runtime.

Over the course of a year and a half (so far!), contributed new content, patches, balance changes, and bugfixes to a constantly-evolving multiplayer game.
Delta-V, and Space Station 14, run on Robust Toolbox - a purpose-built ECS C# game engine. Working on this, I learned a lot about how ECS works, and gained experience familiarizing myself with an entirely new engine on the fly.
